Adult Training Programs
QPR: Question. Persuade. Refer.
QPR stands for Question, Persuade and Refer- the 3 simple steps anyone can learn to help save a life from suicide. QPR is not a form of counseling or treatment. Rather it is intended to offer hope through positive action. By learning QPR you will come to recognize the warning signs, clues and suicidal communications of someone in trouble and gain skills to act vigorously to prevent a possible tragedy.
Signs of Suicide (SOS) for Parents and Caregivers
In this 30-minute session, parents and caregivers learn how to recognize signs of a mental health challenge, how to have conversations about mental health and suicide, and how to support their child’s mental health and resiliency.

Designed for grades 6-12, SOS teaches students how to identify signs of depression and suicide in themselves and their peers. This single, 45-minute session provides age-appropriate information in an interactive format that empowers youth to ACT if they or a friend are struggling with a mental health challenge.
