Indiana Center for Prevention of Youth Abuse & Suicide

With over two decades of experience using evidence-based programming, we know that abuse and suicide can be prevented. We are providing curriculum to educate our communities to empower both youth and adults to recognize and prevent abuse before it starts. We have a vision of a world where every child is educated and empowered and every adult is trained to react responsibly to abuse and suicide.

Educate. Prevent. Empower.

The Indiana Center for Prevention of Youth Abuse & Suicide was founded in 2001 with the sole focus to prevent abuse or suicide from ever happening to the youth in our communities. With almost two decades of experience, we provide evidence-based programming to educate youth and adults and empower them to recognize, react, and find the appropriate resources available for help. We offer five programs that support our mission and work towards a day when there will be no more abuse and lives are saved.

Our Programs

We provide evidence-based programming to educate youth and adults. Our abuse curriculum is focused on preventing, recognizing, and reacting appropriately to mental, physical and sexual abuse. Our suicide prevention programming helps identify youth at risk for suicide, providing immediate resources for those who need help, and saving lives.

Our Mission

The mission of the Indiana Center for Prevention of Youth Abuse & Suicide is clear - to prevent youth abuse and save lives. Our team is dedicated to creating awareness that 95% of abuse is preventable through education and providing critical resources necessary to give hope to those who have lost their way. We will work with our communities to make sure that evidence-based curriculum is in place, so both youth and adults, can be empowered to protect, prevent, and create a personal mission to end abuse, once and for all.
