Your gift helps protect children, prevent abuse, and save young lives before it’s too late.
At the Indiana Center for Prevention of Youth Abuse and Suicide (ICPYAS), we believe every child deserves to grow up in a safe, healthy environment—free from abuse and harm—so they can reach their full potential.
The reality is urgent.
One in 10 children will experience sexual abuse before age 18, and 90% of the time, the abuser is someone the child knows and trusts. Abuse and other adverse childhood experiences are strongly linked to mental health struggles and suicide. Indiana has the highest rate of youth suicidal ideation in the nation, with one in five youth seriously considering suicide each year.
Prevention saves lives.
ICPYAS delivers evidence-based prevention education to children, teens, and adults—equipping our community to recognize warning signs, respond appropriately, report concerns, and stop abuse and suicide before they happen.
A gift to our Annual Fund directly supports these life-saving programs, empowering youth and the trusted adults around them with the knowledge and tools needed to protect children and build safer communities.
Your generosity creates hope, healing, and a safer future for Indiana’s kids.
