Unmasking Online Grooming: What Parents Should Know

  • ONLINE United States (map)

Online grooming is a deliberate and manipulative process predators use to build trust with children—often leading to dangerous and illegal solicitation. In this 30-minute training, parents and caregivers will learn how online grooming works, what digital platforms are commonly used, and the red flags that may signal a child is being targeted.

Using resources from NetSmartz®, a digital safety program developed by the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, this session will equip adults with tools to start open conversations with children and take proactive steps to keep them safe online.

Whether your child is 8 or 18, this class will help you recognize risks and build their digital resilience.
