An Update from the Executive Director
Dear Friends,
Every year, we look forward to connecting with our supporters and sharing our success and vision for the future with you at our Rise Up for Kids Breakfast. We love sharing our mission and educating the community about why what we do is so important. But given the concerns around COVID-19 and out of an abundance of caution,we’ve made the difficult decision to cancel the in-person breakfast this year.
This was a tough call to make – the Rise Up for Kids Breakfast is an incredibly important event for the Indiana Center for Prevention of Youth Abuse and Suicide and it’s one of our favorite ways to celebrate all of you from around the world -- but we need to prioritize the health and safety of our employees, volunteers, supporters, and everyone who helps put this event on. This event is one of only two fundraising events that we host each year.
In place of the in-person event, we’re planning other ways for our community to get together through videos and live streamed content. We’ll share additional details on our plans for our Virtual Rise Up for Kids Breakfast in the coming weeks. In the meantime, thanks for your patience and understanding -- and we look forward to seeing all of you soon.
Thank you,
Melissa Peregrin
