Body Safety Educators
Now accepting applications for Body Safety Educators to deliver our programs to children and youth in area schools and youth-serving organizations! If you love working with children and want to make a difference in the fight against child sexual abuse and youth suicide, we want to hear from you!
Do you care about children and want to make a difference? Would you like to give children the tools they need to keep themselves safe? If so, Indiana Center for Prevention of Youth Abuse & Suicide has the perfect oppportunity for you! We are looking for dedicated individuals to deliver child abuse prevention programming for children in grades K- 12.
Present body safety curriculum to children and youth in schools, primarily in Hamilton, Boone and Marion counties, but including Hancock, Hendricks, Madison, and Tipton counties as well.
Interact with teachers, school staff, and children in a professional, but caring manner. All presentations are scheduled within normal school hours, generally 8am-3pm during the school year.
Bachelor’s Degree in education, counseling, social work, psychology, or a related fieldpreferred; or a combination of experience, education, and/or training. Presenters will be paid $15/presentation on a contract basis.
Ability to work with and interact well with children, good presentation skills, effective communication skills with school representatives.

Create social media posts across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter
Create relevant content about suicide prevention and abuse prevention for the ICPYAS blog
Assist in donor retention by improving donor communication, via email and mail
Monitor analytics on blog and social media posts to identify trends
Assist in event planning for fundraising events
Provide support with day to day office tasks
Must be a sophomore, junior, or senior at an accredited college or university
Majoring in communications, marketing, fundraising, writing, or a comparable field
Proficient in all social media platforms and Microsoft Office
